Georgia weather is hard on batteries from both ends. Long, hot summers wear them down, and the first cold mornings of winter finish off the weak ones. They often fail with no warning: a car that started fine yesterday can just click today.
Once the car is running, keep it running for at least 20 to 30 minutes, or drive straight to a parts store or shop to have the battery tested. If the car will not start after a jump, we can tow it on the same call.
What we handle
- Jump start for cars, SUVs, pickups and motorcycles
- Quick check that the alternator is charging
- Tow on the same visit if the jump does not hold
Call us when
- Clicking when you turn the key
- Dim dash lights or no power at all
- You left the lights or a charger on overnight
Jump start questions
Can a jump start damage my car?
Not when it is done correctly. We connect in the right order, ground to bare metal away from the battery, and use a pack with surge protection.
Why do batteries die without warning?
Heat speeds up the chemical wear inside a battery all summer, and cold weather cuts how much power it can deliver. A battery weakened by summer often fails on the first cold morning.
